Community Investment Fund submissions

The Community Investment Fund is an outreach program to provide financial support to communities within the geographical area in which our projects are operating. Greengate works together with our local stakeholders to understand priorities and support local projects that have a direct impact on the quality of life and well-being of its members. We strive to help local grassroots efforts that promote the long-term economic growth and prosperity of the community. We focus our donations within three funding priorities: Community Development, Emergency Response, and Sustainability.

Please review our eligibility criteria for the Community Fund:

  • Applicants must be located within the geographic area in which our projects are operating.

  • Applicants must demonstrate a need for, and benefit of the funds.

  • The core principles or objectives of the applicants must align with the principles of the project partners.

  • Applicants should be a registered not-for-profit organization.

  • Exclusions:

    • Individuals.

    • Religious organizations (except for those with demonstrated non-faith-based purposes).

    • 3rd party fundraisers.

    • Political events.

Please note: Funds are distributed twice a year (January 1st and July 1st). If you require immediate funds, please note that in your application.
